Publisher Eastasiasoft and developer Shinu Real Arts have announced the release date for the dynamic shoot 'em up titled Shockwave Triggers. The game will be released digitally for Nintendo Switch on October 14, 2026.
Gameplay Features
Shockwave Triggers is a vertical bullet hell shooter set in a post-apocalyptic world where crystals serve as both currency and the primary energy source. Players can look forward to six action-packed stages, anime cutscenes, and an energetic soundtrack.
The main highlight of the combat system is the use of shockwaves, which allow players to neutralize enemy projectiles and convert them into valuable crystals.
Key Features:
- Two unique pilots: the swift Amira, motivated to save her sister, and the powerful mechanic Turbo B.
- Support for "tate" (vertical) and "yoko" (horizontal) screen modes for convenient play on Switch.
- Local two-player co-op mode, Boss Rush mode, and online leaderboards.
- In-game shop to upgrade the ship, unlock new features, and gain additional credits.

The game will be priced at $14.99 / €14.99 on the Nintendo eShop. In addition, a 10% launch discount will be available for the first two weeks after release.
