Studio KADATH has announced its debut project titled Under Mythos, a grim dark fantasy role-playing game scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch in 2028. A true "all-star team" of Japanese gaming industry veterans involved in hits such as Pokémon, Grandia, Tales of the Abyss, and Lunar is working on the project.
Plot about a cat and a hot spring inn
The game's protagonist is a lonely cat who, in search of his Mother, finds himself in a mysterious otherworldly realm. There, he discovers a wondrous hot spring inn where inhabitants of this strange dimension relax. Hoping to reunite with his Mother, the cat takes a job there, caring for guests and spending peaceful weekdays. However, the familiar and cozy world soon begins to descend into madness.
