The developers of the highly anticipated metroidvania Aeterna Lucis, a direct sequel to the acclaimed game Aeterna Noctis, have finally set a final release date. The game will be released on the Nintendo Switch console as soon as December 3, 2026.
A New Heroine and Saving the Universe
The events unfold after the finale of Aeterna Noctis, when the balance between Light and Darkness was irrevocably shattered. The protagonist of the new installment is the Queen of Light. Waking up on the edge of the void in a rapidly collapsing world, she must challenge the Supreme God of Chaos and find her longtime rival.
