Developers from Ratata Arts and publisher Game Source Entertainment have announced the full release date for the rhythm roguelike RATATAN. The long-awaited game will be released on the next-generation console Switch 2 on October 15, 2026.
Pre-order and Discount
Digital pre-orders for the Switch 2 version are now open. Players who purchase before the official release will receive a pleasant 10% discount, as well as in-game bonuses:
- Standard Edition: $31.49 (instead of $34.99) — includes the game and an early purchase bonus in the form of the legendary weapon "Spirit Sword Banbansord".
- Deluxe Edition: $35.99 (instead of $39.99) — includes the game, the "Spirit Sword Banbansord" sword, a set of additional weapons and accessories, the Cobun Pack, and a supply set.
Story Finale and Version 1.0 Release
Along with the release of version 1.0 on consoles and the exit from early access, the game's story will reach its climax with Chapters 3 and 4. Players will experience the final world, a confrontation with the main boss, and an encounter with all the Dark Ratatans.
In addition, the developers fulfilled their promise to the community: live symphony orchestra recordings have been added to the final version of the game, making the rhythmic battles even more epic.
RATATAN at Tokyo Game Show 2026
The project will also be presented at the Tokyo Game Show 2026 exhibition (GSE booth, Hall 2 / 02-N02), where visitors will be able to try out the console demo in person and receive exclusive commemorative souvenirs.
