Today, the cyberpunk adventure Au Revoir by the Brazilian team Invisible Studio and publisher Nuntius Games was released on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles. The project offers a deep story in a neon-noir aesthetic inspired by classic 1990s 3D graphics.
Secrets of Artificial Consciousness
The game is set in 2071 in a dystopian world. The protagonist is Tristan, a guard for Au Revoir Ltd., a corporation dominating the synthetic brain market. This technology allows human consciousness to live on after biological death. After completing another routine assignment, Tristan begins to doubt the authenticity of his own memories and search for hidden flaws in his artificial brain.
Project Features:
- Non-linear story: player decisions directly affect the development of events and lead to one of 5 final endings;
- Retro visuals: 3D styling in the spirit of 90s projects combined with a dark cyberpunk aesthetic;
- Puzzles and investigations: item collection, logic puzzles, and conversations with colorful characters;
- Console enhancements: optimized controls for Switch and Switch 2, additional dialogue, and an improved interface compared to the PC release.
