Unexpected Return of a Rare Card Game Set
Before the massive anniversary collection captured all the attention of Pokémon Trading Card Game fans, one of the most coveted and scarce sets on the market undeniably remained Ascended Heroes. Finding original cards from this series had long been extremely difficult due to their age and the company's focus on distributing newer releases.
Where the Sets Have Reappeared and What the Conditions Are
Recently, the situation has changed somewhat — Elite Trainer Box (ETB) card boxes, mini tins, and special Pokémon Ascended Heroes bundles have begun regularly appearing on sale, even below the manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP).
However, to take advantage of this opportunity, fans will have to meet certain conditions:
- Shipments are concentrated primarily in large wholesale retail chains (specifically Costco and Sam's Club).
- To make purchases at discounted prices, buyers need an active paid membership in these clubs.
- Stock is still limited, so sets are quickly bought out by scalpers and collectors.
