Another formidable opponent has appeared in the mobile game Pokémon GO — Dynamax Azelf, the legendary Willpower Pokémon of the Sinnoh region. Like other representatives of the Dynamax form, it cannot be caught in the wild. To obtain this powerful Pokémon, Trainers need to find special Power Spot locations and claim victory in a Max Battle.
Azelf's Weaknesses and Type
Azelf is a pure Psychic type Pokémon. Accordingly, it is weak against attacks of the following types:
- Ghost
- Dark
- Bug
Best Counters for Max Battle
To successfully complete the raid, it is recommended to use Dynamax Pokémon with powerful attacks of effective types:
- Gengar — quickly deals significant damage thanks to the high power of its Ghost-type attacks.
- Tyranitar / Umbreon — sturdy Dark-type Pokémon that have high defense against Psychic-type moves.
- Inteleon / Cinderace (with Dark or effective secondary moves) or other available high-level Dynamax fighters.
Don't forget to upgrade your Pokémon's Max Moves and team up with other Trainers at Power Spot locations for a swift and guaranteed victory!
