In honor of the 30th anniversary of the release of the iconic games Pokémon Red and Pokémon Green, Pokémon Center and the world-renowned musical instrument manufacturer Fender have announced a collaboration. Musicians and fans of the franchise will be offered two unique electric guitars made in Japan.
Retro Sound and Classic Design
The special lineup includes the following models:
- Made in Japan Pokémon Red Version Stratocaster®
- Made in Japan Pokémon Green Version Telecaster®
The instruments combine Fender's legendary signature style with pixel art from the classic Pokémon games. The main highlight is a dedicated 8-bit audio switch that delivers an authentic retro sound just like on the original Game Boy. An anniversary engraving celebrating the franchise's 30th anniversary is located on the back of the neck.
Release Date
The official release of the Pokémon x Fender guitars is scheduled for 2027. Pre-orders will open soon on the Pokémon Center website.
