In celebration of the release of Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension, the developers have launched a new Mystery Gift distribution. Players can claim a special Spewpa Pokémon for free.
What is special about this Spewpa?
Usually, the pattern on Vivillon's wings depends on the region and habitat where the Pokémon was born. However, this gift Spewpa is unique—upon evolving into Vivillon, it will randomly receive one of 16 possible pattern variations!
How to get the Pokémon:
- Open the main menu in the game and select Link Play.
- Select Mystery Gift.
- Press Get via Internet to connect to the network.
- Be sure to save your game progress.
The distribution will run until November 18, 2026. The gift can only be claimed once per save file in both the standard version of Pokémon Legends: Z-A and the Nintendo Switch 2 edition. A paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not required for this—an internet connection and a linked Nintendo Account are sufficient.
