A new major event has been announced in the mobile game Pokémon GO — Gigantamax Cinderace Max Battle Day, which will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00 local time. During this period, Trainers will be able to challenge the giant Cinderace in six-star Max Battles, and the luckiest players will have their first chance to encounter a Shiny version of this Pokémon.
Event Bonuses
Special in-game bonuses will be active during Max Battle Day:
- Max Particle collection limit increased to 1,600;
- All Power Spots will host Gigantamax battles and will refresh significantly more frequently;
- Additional Power Spots will be activated;
- Eight times (8×) more Max Particles from Power Spots;
- Up to three Special Trades throughout the day;
- Remote Raid limit increased from 10 to 20 from October 2 to October 3.
Additional Exploration Bonuses
Also, on October 3 from 00:00 to 17:00, bonuses for earning Max Particles by walking will be active: twice as many particles and four times less required walking distance. Don't forget to enable Adventure Sync so that every step counts!
