Updated Version for the Next-Gen Console
The developers have announced a special edition of the metroidvania Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo for Nintendo Switch 2. The release of the enhanced version will take place this week — on August 20, 2026.
Technical Improvements and Features
The Switch 2 edition will receive a number of significant graphical and technical optimizations, including:
- 120 FPS support and 1080p resolution in handheld mode;
- 4K resolution support when playing docked;
- High Dynamic Range (HDR).
Players will be able to experience the dynamic gameplay and vibrant pixel aesthetic with maximum smoothness and visual clarity.
