Turn-Based Hand-Drawn RPG with Permadeath Mechanics
Enthariel Games studio has officially announced the development of The Sky Project: Land of Noris for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 platforms. The new title is a hand-drawn monster-collecting RPG inspired by Nuzlocke rules, featuring a semi-open 2D world to explore and dynamic 3v3 turn-based combat.
The game takes place in a large-scale universe divided into four mythical planes united by an eternal flow of mana. While journeying across these worlds, players will discover hidden areas, secret bosses, and rare relics. One such dimension—the Abyssal Plane—will appeal to fans of Hollow Knight's atmosphere and the bioluminescent landscapes of James Cameron's Avatar.
Key Features:
- Over 200 unique creatures (Noris): they can be tamed, trained, and evolved along various paths.
- Real stakes in combat: Noris lost in battle perish permanently.
- Over 20 bosses: each opponent features individual tactical mechanics.
- Vibrant signature style: a hand-drawn 2D world with four dimensions.
- Notable creators: the soundtrack is being composed by Spanish pianist Elesky, while animator Liners is responsible for the animated cutscenes.
The crowdfunding campaign for the game's development will launch on Kickstarter in mid-October 2026.
