Nintendo has announced another significant legal victory in its uncompromising war against the unauthorized use of gaming content. This time, the case concerned the distribution of specialized devices for hacking Nintendo Switch consoles within the European Union.
Ruling of the Court in The Hague
The Japanese publisher filed a lawsuit against online stores and websites that sold MIG Switch flash carts and similar accessories to European buyers. The District Court of The Hague (Netherlands) upheld the company's claims and ruled that any sale of such devices in Europe is completely illegal.

The court verdict sets an important precedent and enables more effective blocking of the activities of illegal equipment sellers:
- A total ban on the sale, import, and commercial promotion of MIG Switch devices in European countries;
