As part of celebrating the 40th anniversary of the legendary franchise The Legend of Zelda, Nintendo has prepared another pleasant update for its proprietary Nintendo Music app. As early as October 8, 2026, the service will add tracks from the cult classic — The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.
The Musical Magic of Termina on Your Smartphone
According to Nintendo, the app will feature the game's main theme as well as tunes from "various scenes." Although the launch release will not include the entire full soundtrack, the library expansion will happen gradually, and over time fans will get the complete OST of the iconic adventure.
What Makes Majora's Mask Special?
Released as a direct sequel to Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask stands out with its uniquely dark atmosphere and unusual three-day mechanic:
- Deep atmosphere: the mysterious parallel world of Termina and the tragic fates of its inhabitants.
- Unforgettable soundtrack: compositions that perfectly convey a sense of tension, a time loop, and impending disaster.
- Emotional storyline: a rich tale of quest and salvation from the magical power of Skull Kid and Majora's Mask.
All Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be able to enjoy their favorite tunes on Nintendo Music this Thursday.
