Technical Issues Disrupt Festive Event
Players who planned to spend this weekend in dynamic Kirby Air Riders races and earn exclusive themed rewards will, unfortunately, be disappointed. Nintendo has announced the cancellation of the Halloween event due to serious performance issues.
The festive event was scheduled to run from October 28 to November 4, with spooky Ghost headwear among the rewards awaiting fans. However, at the start of the event, players massively encountered unpleasant technical troubles: the screen regularly froze during matches, making the dynamic, high-speed gameplay completely unplayable.
Nintendo decided to temporarily cancel the event to address the glitches. It is currently unknown whether the festive event will return later after the bugs are fixed.
