Studio Compile Heart has announced the official release of Neptunia Unlimited for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles in Japan. In honor of this event, the developers shared the final video from the celebratory countdown series.
The Beginning of an Endless Cycle of Saving the World
The plot of the new installment revolves around a disaster caused by the crash of a mysterious meteorite that brought the world to the brink of destruction. When despair consumed all living things, the goddess Neptune remained the sole survivor in the white void.
- A mysterious voice and a mark on her cheek give the protagonist a chance to change fate;
- The "Retry" mechanic triggers a cycle of endless endings and new beginnings;
- Players will have to overcome numerous defeats, meeting new allies and enemies on the path to the "True Ending".
Neptunia Unlimited is already available to Japanese players, and information regarding a Western release is expected soon.
