Studio Shiny Shoe and publisher Big Fan have announced the release of the new expansion The Punished for the tactical card game Monster Train 2, as well as announced a full version of the game for the next generation of consoles — Nintendo Switch 2.
Release and New Content Details
The Punished expansion will offer players new mechanics, cards, and challenges. The release schedule is as follows:
- Nintendo Switch: The Punished DLC will be released on November 10, 2026.
- Nintendo Switch 2: An enhanced version of Monster Train 2 including the expansion will arrive in late 2026.
Fans of deckbuilding roguelikes on Nintendo should get ready for a new dose of thrilling battles on both the current platform and the new Switch 2.
