Virtual Space for Tabletop Games on Switch 2
CCFOLIA has announced the release of its project Table Game World CCFOLIA for the next-generation console Nintendo Switch 2. The platform will launch in the Japanese region on November 10, 2026.
Table Game World CCFOLIA is a digital hub for tabletop entertainment fans, allowing users to play TRPGs (tabletop role-playing games), classic board games, and Murder Mystery detective games online. Thanks to the room code system, up to 8 players can gather at a single virtual table at the same time.
Freedom of a Real Table and Shared Play
The developers offer a full suite of classic tools: cards, tokens, dice, interactive maps, and a free-form play space. The rules, victory conditions, and turn order are set by the players themselves, recreating the atmosphere of in-person gatherings.
Key features of the project:
- Real-time voice communication support via GameChat;
- Ability to play together with just one copy of the game thanks to the GameShare feature;
- Support for the handheld mode of Switch 2;
- Plans for regular additions of popular board games and official TRPG scenarios from authors and publishers.
