Capcom has released a new trailer and launched a free Prologue Demo for the highly anticipated action game Monster Hunter Wilds on Nintendo Switch 2.
Journey to the Forbidden Lands Right Now
Players now have the opportunity to try out the game in advance and begin their monster hunt in the Forbidden Lands. Key features of the demo include:
- Progress Transfer: all progress made and save data can be carried over to the full version of the game after release.
- Local Multiplayer: the demo supports local co-op play, allowing players to team up with friends without an internet connection.
- Introduction to Mechanics: players can experience the updated combat system and new traversal abilities.
Major Expansion in 2027
In addition to the game's release, the developers also highlighted the ongoing preparation of the massive expansion Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, which will add Master Rank and arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2027.
The demo is already available for free download on the Nintendo eShop.
