Return of the Elder Dragon and New Improvements
Capcom held a detailed demonstration of the major Ascendance expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds. The main surprise of the showcase was the confirmed return of the fan-favorite Elder Dragon — Teostra.
In addition to announcing the formidable monster, the developers dedicated a significant portion of the presentation to substantial gameplay improvements, some of which will be available not only to expansion owners, but to all base game players as well.
Key Features of the Ascendance Expansion:
- Quick Weapon Swapping: Hunters will now be able to quickly switch between two types of equipment directly in combat without needing to summon their mount, the Seikret.
- Return of the Legendary Teostra: Updated attack patterns and hazardous fiery explosions will make the fight even more spectacular and intense.
- Optimization and Balance: Improvements to animations, the user interface, and combat mechanics for a smoother hunting experience.
Capcom promises to reveal even more details about the expansion and its exact release timing in the near future.
