Singapore and Māori language in new free update
Studio Dinosaur Polo Club has released a fresh free update, Merlion’s Marina, for its popular minimalist traffic management simulator Mini Motorways, available among other platforms on Nintendo Switch.
The main feature of the patch is the Singapore map, chosen by the players themselves during the May community vote. Now, players have to manage road traffic across scenic cityscapes, the Singapore River, and the legendary Marina Bay with its famous symbol — the Merlion.
What's new in the Merlion’s Marina update:
- New Singapore map: complex road interchanges amidst water canals and dense development;
- Māori language support (Te Reo Māori): the New Zealand studio added the indigenous language of its homeland on the occasion of Māori Language Week;
- New challenges and achievements: fresh daily, weekly, and city challenges;
- Creative mode: the ability to seamlessly continue city building without restrictions.
The developers also assured that they will continue to delight players with free map and content updates throughout 2026, so the fourth map is just around the corner.
