The digital game Pokémon Trading Card Game Live has launched a fresh expansion titled Mega Evolution — Delta Reign. Players can already experience the devastating power of Mega Rayquaza ex cards, the cunning of Mega Malamar ex, and many other Mega Evolution Pokémon even before opening physical booster packs.
Battle Pass and Login Gifts
The new seasonal Battle Pass is dedicated to the two main cards of the expansion — Mega Rayquaza ex and Mega Malamar ex. Both decks feature new combinations capable of reshaping usual match tactics. As always, the in-game Battle Pass remains completely free.
All Trainers who log in to Pokémon TCG Live before December 17, 2026, will receive a nice bonus set of accessories (a coin, deck box, and card sleeves in Delta Reign style), as well as 1,000 Trainer Points and 500 Trade Credits to expand their collection.
Trainer Trials
Throughout November and December, special themed events will take place in the game:
- Champion’s Training Ground (November 5–19): Standard matches excluding new set cards for those practicing prior to the official Delta Reign tournament legality.
- Colorless Clash (November 19 – December 3): Battles where only Colorless Pokémon are permitted.
- Darkness Duel (December 3–17): Matches exclusively for Darkness-type decks.
New Features: Inbox and Private Expanded Matches
The developers have added an updated mailbox section ("Inbox"), where players will now receive important system notifications, friend requests, and duel invitations. Additionally, the long-awaited ability to privately challenge friends in the Expanded format has arrived (currently supporting cards starting from the Sun & Moon era).
