The Cosmic Adventure Returns to Switch 2
The publisher announced that Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Encore Edition will be released on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. To celebrate the upcoming release, the iconic fictional rock band Star-Lord treated fans to a fiery new single and music video titled "Encore".
Graphics Modes and New Content
The game's re-release will offer Switch 2 owners several graphics presets:
- Quality Mode: 1440p targeting 30 fps docked.
- Performance Mode: 1080p targeting 40 fps docked.
- Handheld Mode: 30 fps for comfortable on-the-go play.
The Encore Edition will also feature a brand-new set of glam rock-style outfits for the Guardians of the Galaxy.
Control Features on Switch 2
The developers have implemented support for the new platform's unique features:
- Mouse controls: full support for the Switch 2's built-in mouse for menu navigation and precise aiming.
- Gyroscope: the ability to steer the Milano spaceship by tilting the controller, as well as balance during sliding or zero gravity.
