Don't Nod studio announces "transformation" plan amid financial troubles
French developer and publisher Don't Nod, known for the Life is Strange series, as well as the projects Remember Me, Vampyr, Jusant, and the recent release Aphelion, is preparing for another wave of restructuring and likely layoffs.
In its official press release, the company announced the launch of a "transformation initiative" prompted by "profound changes in the economic conditions of the video game industry." Although the word "layoffs" is not used directly, management reported consultations regarding a "job safeguard plan" and negotiations with trade unions.
