The action roguelike Kernel Hearts is preparing for its release, which will take place on September 17 on the Nintendo Switch 2 console. Ahead of the launch, the creators shared a new atmospheric intro video titled "Daughters of the Moon".
Fight to save humanity
In Kernel Hearts, you will become a fighter in the M.A.H.O.U. unit—an elite squad of overpowered magical androids. Together with three allies (or solo), you will have to complete a single mission: defeat a god and save the world from total destruction. The path leads from the foot of the mythical Tower of Babel to its very top, where each floor challenges the player's skills.

- Death is just the beginning: after each run, fighters return to the lab, where abilities can be upgraded by installing up to 256 KB of skill chips tailored to your playstyle.
- Magical transformations: master the Tower's energy to lift curses and temporarily transform into an ultimate magical form with devastating attacks.
- Co-op battles: conquer floors solo or in a team of up to four players in co-op mode.
