Authoritative Japanese publication Famitsu has published fresh data on the most successful video games in Japan for July 2026. This month was marked by strong debuts of two major releases from Nintendo at once, which demonstrated impressive physical copy sales.
The main hit of the month was the rhythm game Rhythm Heaven Groove, whose retail circulation approached the mark of 700,000 sold copies. An excellent start was also demonstrated by the spin-off of the popular franchise — Splatoon Raiders, with sales steadily heading towards 500,000 copies.
