Jackbox Games studio has officially announced the release dates for two of its upcoming party projects coming to the Nintendo console family.
The Jackbox Party Pack 12 Will Be Released This Fall
The new installment of the cult collection series, The Jackbox Party Pack 12, will be released on October 15, 2026, on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The collection will feature five brand-new original minigames. Players will be able to create custom postcards, debate heated everyday topics, test their compatibility with friends, and compete in high-speed trivia quizzes.
Trivia Murder Party 3 to Launch as a Standalone Game in 2027
The fan-favorite trivia game featuring dark humor and survival elements returns as a full-fledged standalone release. Trivia Murder Party 3 will be released in 2027 exclusively on the Nintendo Switch 2 platform. Players will be sent to the Camp Mass Acres summer camp, which will feature:
- Full online multiplayer for the first time in the series (with a solo play option);
- Classic local co-op;
- A new set of deadly minigames;
- Cosmetic accessories for avatars.
As always with Jackbox games, no extra controllers are required — controls are handled via the web browser on any smartphone or tablet.
