Complete Collection of Detective Puzzles on One Cartridge
Publisher Super Rare Games has teamed up with studios Color Gray Games and Playstack to release the complete collection of The Golden Idol Saga on physical media exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
The The Golden Idol series consists of unique detective games offering complete investigative freedom. Players must gather evidence, determine the motives of victims and suspects, and unravel the mystery of the Golden Idol—an ancient artifact of unfathomable power.
What Will Be Included in the Physical Release?
The entire history of the franchise will be collected on a single cartridge:
- The original game The Case of the Golden Idol along with the expansions The Spider of Lanka and The Lemurian Vampire;
- The sequel The Rise of the Golden Idol along with all 4 DLCs.
The print run will be limited to just 5,000 copies (3,500 standard and 1,500 deluxe editions). Orders will open on August 27, 2026 on the official Super Rare Games store.
Deluxe Edition Contents:
- Signature detective notebook for notes;
- Golden Idol fridge magnet;
- 2 character sticker sheets;
- Fold-out poster featuring the saga's timeline of events;
- Standard edition of the game with a full-color manual, trading cards, and a sticker;
- Exclusive clamshell-style box.
