Fans of psychological thrillers and creepy stories are in for a new adventure. The small indie horror game A Taste of Home will be released on Nintendo Switch as early as August 27, 2026.
Secrets of the Japanese Province
A Taste of Home is a short 3D exploration horror game set in a nostalgic Japanese town. The developers promise a dense, tense atmosphere and non-linearity: players can expect three different endings depending on their choices and discoveries.
Game Plot
The story follows a boy named Keita:
- Keita breaks a promise and goes to visit a friend while his mother is away from home.
- After that, he begins to notice disturbing and strange changes in his mother's behavior.
- A mysterious diary found in the house reveals creepy secrets of their home.
- When his mother leaves again in the middle of the night and does not return, Keita sets out into the darkness to search for her...
The game is already available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop at an affordable price.
