Hello to all Nintendo fans!

Early September turned out to be extremely eventful for our favorite platform. This week, we received pleasant surprises for time-tested hits as well as strong confirmations of third-party developers' serious ambitions for the new hardware. In addition, the information space was stirred up by another batch of dizzying rumors that certainly won't leave fans indifferent.

Major Announcements and Big Rumors

Nintendo hasn't forgotten its blockbusters: a massive patch 4.0.0 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with Switch 2 improvements was unexpectedly released. At the same time, the developers of the tactical series reported the completion of work: Intelligent Systems added Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave to its list of completed releases. A real bombshell came in the form of rumors from Scandinavian retailers that Monolith Soft may be developing a remake of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

AAA Heavyweights on the New Console

Players received a wealth of details about major cross-platform releases:

New Releases, Reviews, and Cozy Games

The main new release of the week was the co-op project Orbitals: critics have already given high initial reviews for Orbitals, experts published a graphical analysis of the game in handheld and docked modes, and for music lovers, the Orbitals soundtrack is now available for streaming.

For fans of relaxing gameplay, the ecological meditative strategy game BioEden was released, and journalists shared enthusiastic impressions of the city builder Lego Skylines. Meanwhile, the dark horror game REANIMAL received a royal award in Sweden.

Hardware, Services, and Future Plans

On the hardware front, SanDisk introduced an ultra-fast 1 TB microSD Express memory card for Switch 2, albeit for a hefty $360. Rumors also suggest that the new Switch 2 may receive improved LCD panels in future revisions. Minecraft players should note that Mojang is updating the rules for using Minecoins.

Next week brings plenty of exciting things—specifically, the major Level-5 Vision 2026 II presentation scheduled for September 10. Stay with Ukraine Nintendo Daily so you don't miss any important announcements!
