October has arrived, which means the spooky holiday season is officially open. The popular battle royale Fortnite, also available on Nintendo Switch consoles, has kicked off its annual Halloween event — Fortnitemares.
What's new for players?
As part of the traditional celebration, the developers have prepared plenty of surprises and updates across the island map:
- Themed items and weapons: festive items and spooky decorations have appeared on the island.
- Holiday quests: completing special challenges will grant exclusive cosmetic rewards.
- New skins in the shop: a huge selection of frightening outfits and anticipated collaborations.
The Fortnitemares event is already live for all players, so it's time to dive into the festive atmosphere and complete new challenges.
