After its release on PC and Xbox consoles, Brazilian developer Fogo Games alongside publisher Nuntius Games have released the dynamic pixel shooter Ghetto Zombies: Graffiti Squad on the Nintendo Switch hybrid console.
Graffiti, crazy weapons, and hordes of zombies
Ghetto Zombies: Graffiti Squad is inspired by classic top-down arcade shooters like Zombies Ate My Neighbors, adding a vibrant Brazilian flavor and street art culture to the formula. Spraying graffiti is a key progression mechanic: as soon as you finish a drawing on a wall, hordes of zombies swarm towards you, culminating in a showdown with a formidable boss.
Key game features:
- Four unique heroes: choose among young mutants (Vini, Kat, Fabão, and Duda), each with their own playstyle and upgradable abilities.
- Crazy arsenal: over 70 types of weapons across six categories — from explosive spray paint cans and ketchup blasters to magic brooms and shark-shaped shotguns.
- Stylish pixel art: vibrant visuals capture the atmosphere of the favelas and the power of street art.
- Diverse modes: a 4-chapter story campaign and a training room with endless waves of enemies.
The game is already available for download on the Nintendo eShop digital store.
