A major new season called Treasure Hunters has officially launched in Fortnite. Players can expect a grand adventure with a new map, powers from the iconic anime One Piece, and weekly visits from celebrity captains with their crews.
New locations and superpowers
Players are treated to the new 80-player island Crossbones Isle, where famous locations from One Piece, such as Arlong Park and Windmill Village, can be found. You can storm into battle using Luffy's Gum-Gum Fruit abilities or Zoro's Three-Sword Style. In addition, the $.$. Rocky warship from rapper A$AP Rocky has appeared on the map featuring powerful new weapons.
Battle Pass and Item Shop
The new Battle Pass introduces Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin, alongside anime versions of Jonesy and Cuddle Team Leader. Throughout the season, outfits of other popular characters and celebrities will also arrive in the item shop:
- Luffy, Nami, and Usopp — already available at season launch;
- A$AP Rocky — November 5;
- Zoro, Sanji, and Chopper — November 7;
- Lil Uzi Vert — November 12;
- Buggy — November 13;
- Captain Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto — November 14.
The developers also urge players to clear their evening on December 5, when the finale event of the game's Chapter 7 will take place.
