Publisher Paradox Interactive has released Cities: Skylines – Expanded Edition, an updated version of the iconic city-building simulator for the Nintendo Switch 2 console. The new edition offers improved graphics, more stable performance, and an expanded set of tools, allowing players to fully enjoy large-scale construction.
What's New and Interesting in the Expanded Edition?
For those not yet familiar with the game: Cities: Skylines invites you to take on the role of a mayor starting with an empty plot of land near a highway. Your task is to create a thriving metropolis from scratch:
- Infrastructure development: lay out complex road interchanges, residential zones, business centers, and industrial districts.
- City services management: control water supply, power grids, public transit, police, and fire department operations.
- Optimization for new hardware: the Switch 2 version ensures smooth gameplay even with a large population and heavy system load.
Thanks to additional improvements, Cities: Skylines – Expanded Edition is the most complete and convenient way to immerse yourself in urban planning on a handheld system.
