Ahead of the release of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on Switch 2, developers from SNK have published detailed gameplay overview videos for two characters — Ken Ryuguji (Draken) and Manjiro Sano (Mikey).
What awaits players in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves?
The Fatal Fury franchise dates back to 1991, with the last major numbered installment — GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES — released back in 1999. Now the series returns with updated mechanics and a fresh roster of fighters.
Among the key features of the new game:
- REV System: an all-new combat mechanic that grants access to powerful REV Arts, REV Accel, and REV Blows attacks right from the opening seconds of the round;
- Two control schemes: classic Arcade Style for experienced players and simplified Smart Style for beginners to quickly execute flashy combos;
- Single-player mode "Episodes of South Town": a full-fledged story RPG campaign where you can level up your fighter, acquire new skills, and conquer the heights of South Town.
The release of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on the Switch 2 console is scheduled for October 22, 2026.
