Electronic Arts has officially unveiled an expanded list of partnerships, leagues, clubs, and stadiums for the upcoming football simulator EA SPORTS FC 27, which is gearing up for release this fall on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Return of Iconic Leagues and New Partnerships
The developers have significantly deepened the authenticity of European and world football. Among the key additions:
- The official return of Liga BBVA MX with all 18 licensed Mexican clubs.
- The return of the club S.S. Lazio, increasing the number of licensed Italian Serie A Enilive teams to 17.
- New partnership agreements with Aston Villa and Liverpool FC to strengthen the presence of the English Premier League.
- Extension of long-term cooperation with the German Bundesliga, Saudi ROSHN Saudi League, and Australian A-League.
New Stadiums and Scope of the Game
The game will feature meticulously recreated arenas, including the legendary Stade Louis II (Monaco), Estadio Carlos Tartiere (Real Oviedo), and the municipal stadium of Legia Warsaw. In addition, the home arenas of Arsenal (Emirates Stadium) and Stuttgart (MHPArena) have been updated, and stadiums of Premier League newcomers have been added.
In total, EA SPORTS FC 27 will feature over 21,000 players, more than 800 clubs and national teams, 140 arenas, and over 35 world leagues.
Release Date and Early Access
The release of EA SPORTS FC 27 is scheduled for September 25, 2026 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 consoles. Ultimate Edition owners and EA Play subscribers will gain early access to the game starting September 18.
