Publisher tinyBuild, together with development studio Hungry Couch, has announced the release of a major festive update, the "Anniversary Update", for their strategic mining game Drill Core.
Festive content and release plans
The update is currently available to players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series platforms. For users of the Nintendo Switch hybrid console, the developers are preparing a separate release that will take place in the near future.
In the new update, the developers have prepared a number of improvements and fresh content:
- Updated balance and new strategic possibilities during underground drilling;
- Bug fixes and performance optimization;
- Additional challenges and cosmetic items to celebrate the game's anniversary.
The team still needs to finalize the Switch version, so Nintendo console owners should expect the patch in the coming weeks.
