Great news for all fans of Donkey Kong Bananza on Switch 2! Nintendo has announced the return of monthly challenges from the paid expansion Emerald Rush. If you missed any events last year, you now have another chance to catch up and earn exclusive collectible figurines.
A New Round of Monthly Events
All of last year's events are returning to the game in the exact same format—with the same challenges and rewards. The new monthly rotation starts on October 1, 2026, and will run through September 2027 inclusive.

About the Emerald Rush Expansion
In the paid expansion, players explore DK Island alongside Donkey Kong and Pauline. After completing the story campaign, you can join the Void Company and gather emerald ore in a special roguelite-style mode, unlocking new outfits, abilities, and decorative figurines.
