Hit Anniversary: Over 5 Million Players and New Modes
Exactly one year has passed since the release of the first episode of the interactive game Dispatch. During this time, the project's audience has surpassed the impressive milestone of 5 million players. In celebration, the developers at AdHoc Studio have prepared numerous surprises, including a major update for Deluxe Edition owners.
Two new special modes are now available in the game:
- Cast & Crew Commentary: over 16 hours of commentary from the developers and cast (including Aaron Paul, Laura Bailey, and Travis Willingham). In the settings, you can choose a separate track for either the actors or the game's creators.
- Storyboard Mode: the ability to play through the entire game in the form of original storyboards and animatics to see the initial vision of scenes before final animation.
Digital Deluxe Edition owners receive these modes for free. Nintendo Switch users will need to download the corresponding DLC pack to gain access.
Physical Editions for Switch 2 and Artbook
The studio also revealed the contents of the physical Deluxe Edition for next-generation platforms, including the Nintendo Switch 2. The package will include a double-sided poster, a 16-page pocket guide, and a soundtrack download code. Pre-orders are available through publisher Lost In Cult and official retailers.
In addition, the developers announced a hardcover artbook, Dispatch: Design Works, featuring a collector's box set to release in 2027, a live concert in Los Angeles, and a new lineup of merchandise, including physical comic books and apparel.
