Publisher Devolver Digital and developer studio Massive Monster have announced that the popular indie hit Cult of the Lamb is launching on the new Switch 2 console today. Best of all, owners of the original Nintendo Switch version will receive the update completely free of charge!
Build your own cult
In Cult of the Lamb, players take on the role of a possessed lamb saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger. To repay the debt, you must gather loyal followers and build a mighty cult in his honor:
- Build a settlement: gather resources, construct new buildings, perform dark rituals, and deliver sermons to strengthen the faith of your flock.
- Destroy heretics: explore procedurally generated dungeons, fight hordes of enemies, and absorb the power of rival cult leaders.
- Spread your word: train followers and uncover the secrets of mysterious regions on your journey to godhood.
In addition to the base game, players will gain access to the content of the major Unholy Alliance update, which adds a local co-op mode, new tarot cards, relics, buildings, follower traits, and quests.
