The picturesque 2D Metroidvania Constance from studio Blue Backpack and publishers ByteRockers’ Games and PARCO GAMES will receive a physical edition for Nintendo Switch 2.
The digital release of the game on the new console took place on July 30, 2026, and now collectors and physical copy enthusiasts can celebrate the official announcement of a cartridge release. The publishers promise to reveal details regarding the edition's contents and the exact release date soon.

The Switch 2 edition of the game offers players significant improvements:
- Performance mode with support for up to 120 frames per second;
- Quality mode at 1440p resolution;
- Improved audio and integrated achievement system;
- Free upgrade to the Switch 2 version for all owners of the original Nintendo Switch version.
In Constance, players take control of an artist who can transform into paint, slash enemies with a brush, and dive into surfaces as she explores six unique biomes of her inner world.
