Graphics Comparison of the New Shooter on Switch 2 and PC
Ahead of the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, scheduled for October 23, 2026, a fresh video featuring a side-by-side graphics comparison between the Nintendo Switch 2 and high-end PC versions has surfaced online. Although the difference in visuals between a portable hybrid platform and a computer is expected, the Switch 2 version demonstrates impressive performance and detail.
Plot and Campaign Features
The events of Modern Warfare 4 unfold against the backdrop of a massive global conflict on the Korean Peninsula. Players will take on the role of Private Park, a young South Korean soldier caught in the epicenter of a full-scale invasion. Meanwhile, the legendary Captain Price, operating off the grid, attempts to track down a weapon capable of causing a global catastrophe.
The campaign will take players to various corners of the world:
- Close-quarters urban combat on the streets of New York;
- Dynamic car chases in Paris;
- Night raids by the SAS special forces unit in Mumbai;
- Brutal trench clashes in Korea.
Multiplayer Innovations
The multiplayer mode features the Ballistic Authority system for maximally realistic gunplay, as well as support for cross-play, cross-progression, and Joy-Con 2 gyroscopic controls in mouse mode. At launch, players will have access to 12 base maps and the dynamic arena Kill Block, which supports over 500 space configuration variants between rounds.
