Bubble Bobble 4 Friends Receives Age Rating for Switch 2

Return of the iconic dragons to the new generation

The arcade platformer Bubble Bobble 4 Friends, which debuted on the original Nintendo Switch hybrid console back in 2020, is preparing for a release on the platform's successor. This became known thanks to an age rating that appeared in Taiwan for the Switch 2 version.

What to expect from the game?

Currently, an official release date and a list of technical or visual improvements for Switch 2 have not yet been released, but passing the rating board usually indicates an impending official announcement. Bubble Bobble 4 Friends offers:

• Local co-op mode for up to four players on a single screen;
• Over 200 levels including The Baron is Back expansion;
• The original classic 1986 arcade version of Bubble Bobble;
• Various abilities, bubble combos, and dynamic platforming.
