Developers from 13th Street Studio, together with publisher Top Hat Studios, have officially announced the release of the psychological survival horror BECROWNED on the Switch 2 console. The release is scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, and alongside the announcement, the creators presented a new atmospheric trailer.
Plot and Faustian Bargain
The game's protagonist is Richard Torrance, a strong-willed and influential man who has pursued total control his entire life. However, behind his outward steadfastness lies an all-consuming void. Seeking simple human happiness, Richard enters into a dangerous Faustian bargain that completely alters his past, present, and future.
He finds himself in a bizarre, distorted world on the edge of dream and reality, where industrial factories intertwine with medieval castles, and gas stations stand beside rocky rivers. Madness and fear become his new companions, and the struggle for survival turns into a test of the mind.
