The space sandbox Astroneer has received another fresh update, version 1.44.3, on the Nintendo Switch hybrid console. Studio System Era Softworks took community feedback into account and fixed a number of pesky bugs, as well as revised the mechanics for working with Data Circuits.
Key Changes and Fixes
The developers brought back the ability to shred Data Circuits into scrap and made them immune to dynamite explosions. Additionally, the update implements the following improvements:
- Vehicle Ports Improvements: Fixed overly bright outlines, optimized interaction with the Terrain Tool, and adjusted menu interaction zones.
- Multiplayer Fixes: Resolved a bug causing hangs on the transition screen when moving the Orbital Platform.
- Glitchwalkers Expansion: Fixed a bug where the oxygenator in the Glitch Shelter could become invisible.
- Stability and Graphics: Improved storm behavior, fixed vegetation regrowing through structures after loading, and reduced the frequency of falling rock effects in caves.
The update is now available as a free download for all owners of the game on Nintendo Switch.
