Bandai Namco Entertainment America, in collaboration with Epic Games, has announced the launch of a new wave of themed content dedicated to the iconic PAC-MAN as part of Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override.
Mecha Ghosts and New Companions
Starting today, new mini-bosses have appeared on the Battle Royale island—the menacing Mecha Ghosts, inspired by the pixelated retro design of the classic ghosts. By defeating these opponents, players will receive high-tier mythic loot. In addition, the PAC-MAN Sprite companion (based on Blinky) is available, activating a passive cloaking ability and temporary invulnerability after taking damage. This content will be available in the game until October 31, 2026.
Arcade Cosmetics and Interactive Assistant
From September 19 to September 25, the limited interactive companion PAC-MAN Sidekick will appear in the in-game Item Shop, featuring unique animations, an emote, and classic arcade sounds. Players can also look forward to:
- The PAC-MAN Back Bling, which changes appearance (Cherry, Orange, Galaxian) with each elimination;
- The PAC-MAN Gloves pickaxe;
- Themed Kicks footwear and other accessories.
The update seamlessly complements existing themed locations in the Override season, notably the PAC-MAN, BLINKY, and PINKY islands featuring numerous Easter eggs for retro classic fans.
