Astral Ascent became the first third-party project to support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology in both handheld and docked modes on Switch 2. In addition, the developers implemented full support for up to 120 frames per second, ensuring incredible smoothness during intense battles.
About Astral Ascent
Astral Ascent is an exciting 2D rogue-lite platformer set in a modern fantasy world. Players must take control of one of four unique heroes and escape the Garden — an astral prison guarded by 12 formidable Zodiac bosses.
- Ayla: an elusive assassin who instantly eliminates enemies with dual daggers.
- Kiran: a mighty fighter whose devastating strikes create powerful shockwaves.
- Calie: a sculptor who uses magical crystals to pierce through enemy defenses.
- Octave: a marksman capable of summoning ethereal firearms for ranged combat.
