The King of the Monsters descends on Storm Point
Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment have officially announced a major collaboration with Japanese studio Toho. On November 10, the battle royale Apex Legends will launch a massive event, Apex Legends | Godzilla Event, available on all platforms, including Nintendo Switch.
Event Features and Content
As part of the limited-time event, players will find themselves right in the epicenter of chaos at the Storm Point location, with a giant kaiju towering over it:
- Wildcard Takeover: The location will suffer severe destruction, and the bravest players who risk venturing into the zone before Godzilla's heat ray strike will be able to acquire a unique Devotion LMG with a devastating laser attack from supply drops.
- Mythic Melee Weapon: The universal Dorsal Dagger, crafted from the monster's dorsal fin, along with a stylized Deathbox.
- 10 unique skins: Legend appearances inspired by the Toho monster franchise (Bloodhound as Godzilla 2026, Valkyrie as Mothra 2003, Pathfinder as Mechagodzilla 1974, Catalyst as King Ghidorah 1991, etc.).
- Event Pass: Free and premium tracks featuring new badges, materials, and weapon customization.
