Publisher Annapurna Interactive is preparing to release the touching adventure game Forever Ago on Nintendo Switch 2, scheduled for release on October 8, 2026. Ahead of the premiere, the developers shared the first track from the official soundtrack titled «Leave Home Behind».
Music from the author of Slay the Spire
The original musical accompaniment was created by composer Clark Aboud, known for his work on Slay the Spire, Factory Town, and Kind Words 2. The publisher promised to showcase more tracks from the game in the near future.
What is the game Forever Ago about?
In Forever Ago, players will take on the role of Alfred, who is trying to cope with a severe tragedy. Getting behind the wheel of his minivan and armed with an instant camera, he sets off on a journey north in search of peace of mind and redemption.
During the journey, players can look forward to:
- Exploring picturesque locations — from tranquil forest trails to deserts and majestic mountains.
- Meeting interesting characters and studying the surroundings through interactive objects.
- Creating new memories using the camera, which also serves as a tool for solving spatial puzzles.
