The legendary retro franchise returns
Commodore and Antstream have officially announced the release of Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection for the Nintendo Switch console. Fans of the classics will not have to wait long for the release — the collection is scheduled to arrive as early as September.
What will be included in the anniversary edition?
Alien Breed 35th Anniversary Collection includes six classic games from the famous sci-fi series. In addition to the titles themselves, the developers have prepared a number of modern improvements and additional content:
- Six original retro games from the Alien Breed series;
- Interactive archives with development history and exclusive materials;
- Modernized controls and visual enhancements;
- Co-op mode for shared play;
- New online modes: Online Rush Mode and Horde Mode.
The collection will be a great opportunity for fans of classic isometric shooters to dive back into the atmospheric corridors of space stations, and for newcomers to discover an important piece of video game history.
